You’re a bit confused. The 24x24 gazebo is definitely not the same tax price as a 16x16 farm. And the upgraded thatched is 50 not 32. All the taxes are divisible by 5.

Bases are divisible by 5, but the multi-property tax multiplier can end up something like +150%, where you end up with a 2 at the end.

This is true, but with 3 plots, your tax rate is +100%, which doesn't cause any of that 5/2 division.

I got the same set up right now on 3 different accounts (upgraded 24x24, gazebo and 16x16 scarecrow). And I'm 100% sure I'm paying 100 taxes a week for each account :
* 50 for the 24x24 house
* 30 for the Gazebo
* 20 for the scarecrow

Where are you getting the 32 from?
I've got a an upgraded farmhouse and 2x 16x16 and the farmhouse is at 50 tax, yours should be as well, if you do have 3 properties.
Edit: hold up, I'm getting confused here, how are you getting 20+20+32?

Why not get rid of the 16x16 and not build another, and replace with a 24x24 farmhouse or a 28x28 treehouse more suited for your purposes? Meanwhile, it's really about whether you want to reserve the land spot or not, more than anything else.
I shouldn't be one to speak, since grabbing land is driving my taxes insane. Pro-advice? How about saving up a ridiculous amount of tax certs, then getting rid of that 16x16 and prepaying the gazebo and the farmhouse to max. Then, you rebuild and doing the same with the 16x16 farm, and then you build another one. Given how cheap those 16x16 farms are to build after being taken down, it might be worth repeating just before payday finally comes around.

Absolutely do NOT do this. Prepaying taxes inflates your new property placements some ridiculous way. I haven't done it myself, but seen too many people talking about getting screwed by it.

I have 2 24x24s and 4 16x16s and it still isn't enough, but I have an alt that controls most of it and only uses labor on tax certs, so it's worth for me.
